Acting swiftly in the case of minor girl being sexually assaulted, the Barnala police have arrested accused and on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh proceedings have been initiated to provide compensation to the victimized family as soon as possible.Congress vice president Mr Kewal Dhillon said after meeting the victim and her family at the local Civil hospital along with a Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr Tej Pratap Singh Phoolka.Talking to media persons Mr Dhillon said that the victim’s family will be helped in getting justice as soon as possible and no delay would be tolerated.Mr Dhillon said that

Acting swiftly the police have arrested accused and booked him under sections 376 A B IPC, section 6 of Pocso Act, section 3 (2) SC/ST act. The victim is undergoing treatment and civil hospital.Talking to the victim’d family he asserted that the case may be tried through fast track court to give justice and compensation would be awarded under sections SC /ST Act.Deputy Commissioner Barnala Mr Tej Pratap Singh Phoolka said the proceeding of awarding compensation to victim has begun and all kind of help shall be given to them.
