Sarkar- Sanatkar Milni on Sep 15- DC Aashika Jain Meets Industrialists to resolve pending issues

S.A.S Nagar : Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain on Thursday held a meeting with members of various industrialists’ associations ahead of Sarkar- Sanatkar Milni’ scheduled for Sep 15 at Radisson Red, Mohali. Chairing a meeting with the industrialists, Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said that the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann would preside over the mega event.
She sought their fulsome support for making the event a huge success by participating in the event. Discussing the issues of Industrialists coming from Derabassi, Lalru and Mohali, the deputy commissioner while taking the problems one by one, assured them of early disposal.
She said that the general issues like strengthening of infrastructure, law and order by intensifying police patrolling in the industrial areas and smooth power supply will be ensured. She also assured that the numbers of vacant industrial plots would be made online through GAMADA and police verification of labour would be conducted.
The Deputy Commissioner said that this meeting is third in a row from the last fortnight and the district administration is sincere to meet the demands of the industrialists by resolving them with the help of concerned departments. She assured them to meet on the monthly basis to keep their routine calls at administration level and to forward them to the state in case of the intervention of the Punjab Government.
Some of the industrialists while applauding the efforts of the district administration to redress the issues of the industry, said that the Bhagwant Mann led Punjab Government has removed many bottlenecks to ease the business in the state. She directed the MC Commissioner Navjot Kaur, SP H S Mann and officers of GMADA, PSIEC, Industries, Labour Department and Factory Departments to resolve the problems of the Industrialists related to them.
ADC (D) Geetika Singh was directed to follow up with all the departments to facilitate the industrialists.
