Gurjeet Singh Aujla took time out from the elections to meet the wrestlers

Amritsar : This morning, Congress Lok Sabha candidate Gurjeet Singh Aujla suddenly reached the wrestlers’ arena. Recalling his childhood days, he also tested his strength in the arena and while addressing the wrestlers, he said that this is the real Punjab where youth defeats everyone.
Gurjeet Singh Aujla spent some leisure time with the wrestlers at Bijli Pahalwan’s Akhara located on Lawrence Road. He also tried lightly wrestling with them. Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that the youth of Punjab is currently in the grip of drugs but today after coming to the arena he is feeling that the youth still want progress and want to get away from the grip of drugs and for this he himself is trying.
Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that earlier too he has been raising the issue of drugs with the Punjab Government and the Central Government, but this time since Congress government is being formed at the Centre too, he will seriously consider this issue and will also make efforts. So that Punjab can become completely drug free.
Skill development centres will be opened
Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that in the first phase he has started projects worth thousands of crores of rupees in educational institutions and now skill development centres will be opened and the youth will be made self-reliant. He said that he wants the youth of his city to work in their own country and state instead of going abroad and develop the city along with themselves.

आज सुबह कांग्रेस के लोकसभा प्रत्याशी गुरजीत सिंह औजला अचानक पहलवानों के अखाड़े में पहुंच गए। उन्होंने अपने बचपन के दिन याद करते हुए अखाड़े में जोर आजमाइश भी की और पहलवानों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि यही असली पंजाब है जहां की जवानी हर किसी को मात देती है।
लॉरेंस रोड स्तिथ बिजली पहलवान के अखाड़े में पहलवानों के साथ गुरजीत सिंह औजला ने कुछ फुरसत के पल बिताए। उन्होंने उनके साथ कुश्ती के लिए हल्की जोर आजमाइश भी की। गुरजीत सिंह औजला ने कहा कि पंजाब की जवानी इस समय नशे में गिरफ्त है लेकिन आज अखाड़े में आकर उन्हें महसूस हो रहा है कि अभी भी नौजवान तरक्की चाहते हैं और नशों की गिरफ्त से दूर होना चाहते हैं और इसके लिए वो खुद भी कोशिश कर रहे हैं।
गुरजीत सिंह औजला ने कहा कि नशों के लिए वो पहले भी पंजाब सरकार और केंद्र सरकार ने पास मुद्दा उठाते रहे हैं लेकिन इस बार अब चूंकि केंद्र में भी कांग्रेस की सरकार बन रही है तो गंभीरता से इस मुद्दे पर विचार भी करेंगे और कोशिश भी करेंगे ताकि पंजाब पूर्ण रूप से नशा मुक्त हो सके।
स्किल डेवलपमेंट सेंटर खोले जायेंगे
गुरजीत सिंह औजला ने कहा कि पहले पड़ावों में उन्होंने शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में हजारों करोड़ रुपए के प्रोजेक्ट शुरू करवाए हैं और अब स्किल डेवलपमेंट सेंटर खोले जायेंगे और युवाओं को आत्म निर्भर बनाया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि वो चाहते हैं कि उनके शहर के नौजवान विदेशों में जाने की बजाए अपने देश और अपने राज्य में ही काम करें और अपने साथ साथ शहर का भी विकास करें।

ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਜਲਾ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਖਾੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਖਾੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਦੀ ਪਰਖ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਜਵਾਨੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਤ ਦੇਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਜਲਾ ਨੇ ਲਾਰੈਂਸ ਰੋਡ ’ਤੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਖਾੜੇ ’ਚ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਫੁਰਸਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਬਿਤਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਲਕੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਜਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਹੇਠ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਅਖਾੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਖੁਦ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਜਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਉਠਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਣਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਚਾਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ।
ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ
ਗੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਔਜਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ ਨਿਰਭਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਰਨ।
