Police arrested 6 persons during the checking at Sunny Enclave

S.A.S. Nagar : Under the able guidance of Sh. SATINDER SINGH, PPS, SSP, SAS Nagar and as per the guidelines issued by the Punjab Govt. in context with the campaign against the bad elements of the society, under the Supervision of Sh. HARMANDEEP SINGH HANS, IPS, SP Investigation, Sh. AMROZ SINGH, PPS, DSP Investigation, Insp. SUKHBIR SINGH, Incharge C.I.A Staff Mohali along with his team from CIA Staff, Kharar were successful in tracing and apprehending the accused in FIR no 183 dated 02/11/2020 u/s 399,402,120B IPC, 25 Arms Act PS- Sadar Kharar. The accused are :- (1) Harwinder Singh alias Joy s/o Jagga Singh r/o House No. B-4/601 Dhiru Ki Majri Patiala (2) Subham Urv Billu s/o Kailash r/o House No. 1717 Dadumajra Sector- 38 West Chandigarh (3) Hitesh alias Bholu s/o Kishan Kumar r/o village Jagdishpura near Jindal University Sonipat (4) Anmol s/o Rohtas r/o Bandepur Colony Sonipat (5) Abhinav s/o Devedar Bhardwaj r/o near Golden Era Public School Patel Nagar Sonipat (6) juvenile boy, r/o of Sonipat (Haryana), has been arrested on 02-11-2020. On 02-11-2020, the police parties of CIA staff Mohali were conducting a Naka checking at Gopal Sweets junction, Sector-125 Kharar near Sunny Enclave. During checking, all accused were nabbed along with one Haryana no. White colour Scorpio car including Two 32 Bor Pistols along with 7 live Cartridges, One Country made Pistol .315 bore along with 1 Live Cartridges, One sharp Dagger, One iron Sword were recovered from them.
Based on the interrogation of the accused, the investigation has revealed the following:
1) One of the accused, Subham alias Billu, along with a fellow accused named Vijay had carried out the shooting incident at Sector 25 Chandigarh On date 19-10-2020. Case No. 127 dated 20-10-2020 under Section 307,34 IPC, 25, 27 Arms Act was registered at Police Station West Sector-11 Chandigarh.
2) The accused had also carried out the shooting incident on the day of state level function at Patiala on date 25-10-2020. Case No. 299 dated 25-10-2020 A / D 307, 341,323,506, 148, 149 IPC, 25,27 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Civil Line Patiala.
3) All accused were planning to execute a bank robbery to gather funds with help of armed weapons.
During Investigation and in-depth interrogation of the accused, it was revealed that the accused Hitesh alias Bholu is relative of the accused (cousin brother) Manjit Singh, whom they were planning to help escape from police custody while going to court on peshi. Manjit Singh, who is lodged in Burail Jail, Chandigarh in the Sonu Shah murder case, is a highly active member of the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi group.
All Accused were produced in the Hon’ble court and get police Remand till 06-11-2020 taken. More revelations are expected. The case is still under investigation.
