Operation Seal-3 : S.A.S. Nagar Police Recovers Unaccounted Cash of Rs 50 Lakh

S.A.S. Nagar : Following the directions of DGP Punjab,Operation Seal-3 was conducted in SAS Nagar District in coordination with neighbouring states and UT Chandigarh with special focus on checking flow of drugs, liquor and illegal Arms, today.
Divulging details, SSP Dr Sandeep Garg said that a total of 11 Interstate Nakas with deployment of 90 officials under the supervision of Two SPs and Five DSPs were laid during the operation.
As many as 678 vehicles were checked on the VAHAN App, out of which 69 issued challans and 14 vehicles were impounded, he further added.SSP said that during the operation 30 Suspicious persons were rounded up and a major recovery of Rs. 50 Lakh unaccounted cash was made.
The GOs who led the whole operation included SP (Investigation) Amandeep Singh Brar, SP (Rural) Manpreet Singh, DSP City-2 Harsimrat Sing Ball, DSP Mullanpur Dharamvir Singh, DSP Zirakpur Vikram Brar, ASP Derabassi Darpan Ahluwalia and DSP City-1 Prabhjot Kaur.
