Director Agriculture Kashmir stresses for adoption of A&T mechanism

Srinagar : Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal today stressed for adoption of Accountable and Transparent (A&T) mechanism at all levels for achieving the desired results.The Director said this during a meeting convened here of heads of all sections of the department. He instructed the officers for effective work culture and directed them to gear up their staff to work with full dedication, discipline and professionalism.Iqbal stressed upon the officers to depute field functionaries on the regular field visits to their respective jurisdictions for awareness generation among the farming community regarding latest technological interventions.Later, Director conducted an inspection of Agriculture complex Lalmandi along with senior officers of the department. He also interacted with the employees and lauded the role of the employees for making the department relevant and stressed them for extending all possible help to the farming community to give boost to the agriculture sector.He directed the employees to put-in all efforts and professional endeavour for making the agriculture sector more remunerative.
