Minister Meets Hayer Laid the Foundation Stone for Development Projects Worth 72.69 Lakhs in Village Uppali

Uppali (Barnala) : Under the leadership of Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has always prioritized development projects to ensure the complete progress of the people. These efforts have resulted in grants of lakhs of rupees being provided to every village in the Barnala constituency over the past two years. To highlight this, Punjab Sports Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer today laid the foundation stone for the renovation of Chhappar in village Uppali.
He mentioned that development works worth 72.69 lakhs are underway in the village. Providing further details, he stated that for the renovation of Chhappar, 56.65 lakhs will be spent, 11.29 lakhs for laying pipeline for drainage, 2 lakhs for setting up sheds outside the dharamshala, 2 lakhs for renovation of Ravidas Dharamshala, and 75,000 rupees for installing a motor in the cemetery.He informed that renovation work is already underway in villages like Rajgarh, Pharwahi, Sekha, Jhulur, Bhaini Meheraj, and Badbar. He appealed to the people to benefit from these camps.
Minister Meet Hayer said that he is committed to carrying out the renovation of Chhappars, sports field utilization, and community hall construction in every village of the Barnala constituency to ensure the complete development of the villages. On this occasion, District Planning Board Chairman Gurdeep Singh Bath, SDM Shri Hasnpreet Bhardwaj, and other officials were present.
