AAP government will develop Jalandhar as a model constituency in the country - Malwinder Singh Kang

Chandigarh : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang, while addressing the press conference held at the party office in Chandigarh on Thursday, told the media about the agenda of the Mann government for Punjab. Kang informed about ‘Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ campaign held in Jalandhar in the past few days and the decisions taken for the development of the area.
During his media address, Kang said that lakhs of AAP volunteers went door-to-door in 2022 and asked Punjabis to give them a chance by telling them about the party’s agenda for the state, and now it is the turn of the Mann government to go door-to-door to solve the problems of common people.
Kang said that in Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led-cabinet meeting at Jalandhar under the program ‘Sarkar Tuhade Dwar’ (Government at your door) the government has released 95 crores for the development and beautification of Jalandhar. Also, CM Mann laid the foundation stone of the Adampur road project, which was abandoned for the last six years and announced to develop Jalandhar as a model lok sabha constituency in the country.
Kang said that just as Arvind Kejriwal is shaping the country’s politics, similarly Bhagwant Mann is working on the agenda of ‘Punjab’s progress’ in the state and is continuously working for the prosperity of every class, including farmers and youth, without any discrimination. Kang said that the Aam Aadmi Party is working to strengthen the brotherhood by eliminating ‘parcha culture’ in the state and the Mann government is meeting the expectations of Punjabis in every aspect.
During his address, Malwinder Kang expressed concern over the decreasing water level in Punjab and insisted on saving it. He said that in order to meet the needs of the farmers, the AAP government is making efforts to make the canal water available to the farmers. Farmers are also enthusiastic to help the government to save water.
Expressing satisfaction over the works and performance of the Mann government in the last one year, Kang said that the trend of going abroad is now stopping in Punjab, which is a good sign for the future of the state.
