Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann Distributes Letters of Intent (LoIs) worth Rs. 2.70 Crores to 154 Families for Mud House Renovation

S.A.S Nagar/ Kharar : Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan led Punjab Government is consistently fulfilling all the promises made to the people and tirelessly working for the people with a clear intention, said Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann by adding that we will continue to work together day and night for the progress and prosperity of the people and the state with honesty and dedication.
The Cabinet Minister was here on Tuesday at Ram Bhawan Kharar to disburse Letters of Intent to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana. She started distribution of 154 sanction letters to the eligible beneficiaries. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1.75 lakh has been given to each family.
This amount reaches the beneficiary in phased installments. The first installment is Rs 12,500, the second Rs One lakh, the third Rs 32,500 and Rs 30 thousand.
The Cabinet Minister said that to avail the benefit of this scheme, it is mandatory to follow the entire procedure in this regard. Phased installments are issued and phased photographs of the work in progress are to be uploaded on the portal, which should be supported in completion.
She said that the pace of development in the constituency will be accelerated. She said that the compensation for the damage due to floods is being given continuously and Ra 25 lakh has been given as compensation in the constituency.
The Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab Government, since coming to power, has been continuously engaged in delivering the promises made to the people. She said that today keeping another promise made to the people, sanction letters have been distributed to the needy families for making Pakka houses.
The cabinet minister said that housing is a basic need of every human being, the absence of which is a big problem for humans and the Punjab government is committed to solving the problems of the people. She said that for the betterment of society, there is a need to adopt positive thinking. She said that no problem will be allowed in the work of streets, drains, roads and other infrastructure.
The cabinet minister said that the CM Bhagwant Mann led government is the peoples’ own government and the state government is rising above party politics and fulfilling the promises made to the people. She appealed to the people to support the government so that the state can be transformed to Rangla Punjab.
Aprat from SDM Ravinder Singh, DSP Karan Singh Sandhu, Municipal Council Executive Officer Bhupinder Singh, officials of various departments, beneficiaries and dignitaries were present.
