GT road to be named after Dada Kushal Singh Dahiya- Dr. Arvind Sharma
Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma, while moving an important proposal in the House on the second day of the ongoing Winter Session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, said that he fully agrees with the suggestion put forward by MLA Pawan Kharkhoda. Emphasising respect for Haryana’s rich historical and cultural legacy, he stated that the GT Road in the state should be named in honour of Dada Kushal Singh Dahiya.
Dr. Arvind Sharma assured the House that he would remain personally committed to the project and extend all necessary support to ensure its early implementation. In addition, the Cooperation Minister also proposed the development of a dedicated memorial site in the state to preserve the legacy of Mata Ghoghri Devi.
He said the memorial should be developed over an area of around 2,000 square yards so that future generations can draw inspiration from her contributions and ideals. The Cabinet Minister urged Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini to consider the proposal sympathetically and issue appropriate directions for its execution.
Reiterating his commitment, Dr. Sharma said he would stay closely associated with the memorial project as well and make every possible effort to ensure its successful completion. He added that such initiatives to honour eminent personalities not only strengthen social awareness but also elevate Haryana’s cultural identity to greater heights.
