For the safety of traders and businessmen, we will end the ‘Inspector Raj’: Manish Sisodia

Police personnel will not harass any shopkeepers and traders in AAP government: Manish Sisodia

Patiala/Nabha : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia campaigned in favour of the party’s candidate Gurdev Singh ‘Dev’ Mann from Nabha assembly constituency of Patiala and in Tripuri for Dr. Balbir candidate from Patiala urban constituency. Sisodia appealed to the people to form the AAP government in Punjab by making the Aam Aadmi Party’s candidates winners with huge margins. On Tuesday, Manish Sisodia campaigned in favour of AAP candidates in different areas of Patiala. Sisodia said that unscrupulous Akali-Congress governments have been inflicting a lot of atrocities on Punjab and Punjabis for years. Now Punjab needs honest politics. This time people have decided to give a chance to the pair of Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann. AAP’s government will make Punjab happy and prosperous again.

He said that Arvind Kejriwal has shown it by working in Delhi. We ended Inspector Raj in Delhi. By reducing VAT, the burden of heavy taxes on traders was reduced. Today every trader and shopkeeper of Delhi has forgotten what Inspector Raj was. Inspector Raj will end in Punjab after March 10th. Sisodia promised that no inspector will ever harass the shopkeeper or trader after the formation of AAP’s government.Sisodia said that every small and big shopkeeper and trader of the state is facing financial crisis due to the recession caused by the Covid pandemic. The Congress and its ministers filled their own coffers instead of facilitating people and giving them tax concessions in tough times. AAP government will come up with new schemes to promote traders, industrialists and shopkeepers and to emerge from the recession.Taking a dig at the opposition parties, Sisodia said that Akali made the state the capital of corruption and mafia. After the formation of the Congress government, first Captain Amarinder Singh and then Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi carried forward this tradition of the Akalis. Together, both the parties pushed the youth of the state into the quagmire of drugs. We have to get the youth out of this quagmire. Sisodia appealed to the people that you have given opportunities to Akali and Congress. This time give a chance to the Aam Aadmi Party and on February 20th, press the ‘Jharoo’ button to form an honest and stable government of AAP in Punjab.
