Arrangements for Eid ul Adha festival finalized in Rajouri

Rajouri : Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar today chaired a meeting to discuss and finalize the arrangements for auspicious occasion of Eid ul Adha.The meeting discussed arrangements for uninterrupted water and power supply, Medicare facilities, parking facilities, transport etc for the devotees at the venues of Congregational prayers.

The ADDC stressed upon the officers to provide all requisite facilities to the public like drinking water, sanitation, Medicare, transport, uninterrupted power and water supply and other necessary facilities.The Police authorities were directed to deploy adequate police personnel on the holy day for the security of the public.

The Traffic authorities were directed to prepare well thought-out traffic management and parking plans in order to ensure hassle-free to-and-fro movement of vehicles on the scheduled day. The Fire and emergency Department was directed to keep the Fire tenders on alert, while the MC was directed to conduct a cleanliness drive in the town during the festival.

The ADDC also asked the concerned officer from the Health Department to keep available all the Medicare facilities for the public to meet any emergency.

The concerned officer from FCS & CA were asked to intensify market checking to keep a check on overpricing, profiteering, black-marketing.Officers who attended the meeting included DSHO, Dr Sarfraz Naseem Chowdhary; Dy CMO, Dr Anees Altaf Nabi; AC FS, Ajeet Singh; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn PDD Rajouri, Hasan Mohd; AD FCS&CA, Arief Lone and other concerned officers.

Religious leaders and traders including President Beopar Mandal, Rajesh Gupta; Farooq; Mohd Farooq; Haji Mohammad Yousif; Mohammad Hanief Raza; Haji Mohammad Yaqoob; Murawat Hussain; Hamir Mohammad Shamsi; Mohammad Yousif; Wali Hussain and Gulam Rasool Hussain were also present in the meeting.
