DC Rajouri Om Prakash Bhagat approves 180 cases under PMVKSY, empowering Artisans across multiple trades

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat on Monday presided over a meeting to review the implementation of the flagship “PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana” in the district, a visionary scheme designed to uplift and empower traditional artisans.
The PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana holds immense significance in preserving and nurturing India’s rich cultural heritage of traditional craftsmanship, providing crucial financial support to artisans and enabling them to pass on their age-old skills to future generations.

After a thorough scrutiny of the applications presented in the meeting, the DC approved 180 cases under the PM Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana. These cases represent a diverse range of trades.
