Chief Minister unveils, lays foundation of Rs. 75 crore development project in Bhatiyat AC

Chamba : Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu unveiled and laid the foundation of nine development projects worth Rs. 75 crore in Bhatiyat Assembly Constituency (AC) in Chamba district today during his one day visit.
While addressing a public meeting in Chowari, the Chief Minister announced the opening of Civil Court, DSP office, Mini Secretariat, Fire Officer post and Post Graduate College at Chowari of Bhatiyat AC. He announced Rs. 4 crore for the feasibility report of Chamba Chowari Tunnel.
He said that a new division of Jal Shakti Department will be opened for Bhatiyat and the division of Jal Shakti Department will remain in Dalhousie.”I have come from an ordinary family and finally seated as Chief Minister.
I have seen the struggles and gone through much hard work” he said adding that he well understands the pain of a common man and despite economic challenges, our government has started many schemes the welfare of the people.
The government launched Mukhya Mantri Sukh-Aashray for orphan and destitute children and restored the OPS for government employees to enable them to lead a respected life after retirement.It is not a culture of Himachal Pradesh to betray the mandate of the people and go against the ideology of a particular party.
The people here are honest but when a public representative sells his integrity, he as to face the brunt of the public. He said that the government will complete its five years tenure in the service of its people.He said an attempt was made to overthrow the government during the budget session wherein many important bills were to be passed for the benefit of the people.
Efforts were made to hinder the process of budget. However, the budget was for the welfare of the farmers, horticulturists, youth, women and other sections of the society. The Chief Minister said that Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania performed his constitutional duties in a befitting manner and lauded his decisions for upholding the democratic values in its true perspective.
He said that his name will be remembered in the annals of history to shield the democratically elected government as per the constitutional norms, despite every effort by the opposition to snatch power. The Speaker said that to stop horse trading in democracy, there was anti-defection law that aims to prevent elected representatives from changing their party affiliations or voting against the party decisions to maintain stability, discourage political opportunism and political defections.
The Speaker said that Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has taken many public welfare decisions, including adoption of 4,000 orphans as the Children of the State. He said that farmers were demanding minimum support price on their produce from the Central Government which was being ignored since long.
However, the State Government provided support price on procurement of cow and buffalo milk, besides enhancing the support price for organically produced wheat and maize. He said that works on various development projects worth Rs. 300 crore were under implementation in Bhatiyat AC and the Rs. 1,000 crore projects will be undertaken in next fiscal for which he thanked the Chief Minister.
Earlier, the Chief Minister was accorded warm welcome on reaching Chowari. MLAs Neeraj Nayyar and Malender Rajan, former Minister Asha Kumari, former MLA Surender Bhardwaj, District Congress Working President Chamba Kamal Thakur, Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repswal and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion amongst others.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu unveiled and laid foundation of 9 development projects worth Rs. 75 crore in Bhatiyat Assembly Constituency (AC) in Chamba district today. He inaugurated Rs. 2.20 crore lift water supply schemes to Sarna, Saloh Chulari and adjoining areas in tehsil Bhatiyat and Rs. 1.17 crore water supply scheme to Upper Badingi and Lower Badingi in tehsil Bhatiyat.
He laid foundation stones of Rs. 15.53 crore gravity water supply scheme to Samot and other multi villages piped water scheme for part of Block Bhatiyat, Rs. 12.59 crore remodeling and augmentation of flow irrigation scheme Rajain-Saroga Kuhl in tehsil Bhatiyat, Rs. 4.32 crore flood protection work to village Jatroon-Trimath and Saloh in tehsil Bhatiyat.
Rs. 1.79 crore flood protection work to village Molta in Gram Panchayat Molta in Sihunta, Rs. 25.90 crore improvement and augmentation of water supply scheme to Chowari town, Rs. 3.86 crore landslides mitigation measures for preventing of landslide disaster over Kali-Ghar on Sihunta-Chowari-Jot road and Rs. 6.43 crore up-gradation of Sihunta-Jolna Khas road.

मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने आज चम्बा जिले के भटियात विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 75 करोड़ रुपये की 9 विकासात्मक परियोजनाओं के लोकार्पण और शिलान्यास किए। चुवाड़ी में जनसभा को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने क्षेत्र में सिविल कोर्ट, डीएसपी कार्यालय, मिनी सचिवालय, स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय खोलने तथा फायर ऑफिसर का पद सृजित करने की घोषणा की।
उन्होंने चंबा चुवाड़ी टनल की फीजिबिटिलटी रिपोर्ट के लिए चार करोड़ रुपए प्रदान करने की भी घोषणा की और कहा कि भट्टियात के लिए जल शक्ति विभाग का नया मण्डल खोला जाएगा और डलहौजी में भी जल शक्ति विभाग का मण्डल बना रहेगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वह साधारण परिवार से संबंध रखते हैं और कड़ी मेहनत व संघर्ष के बूते पर आज जनसेवक के रूप में कार्यरत हैं।
आम लोगों के लिए कुछ करने की दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति से ही आर्थिक चुनौतियों के बावजूद जनकल्याण के लिए योजनाएं आरंभ करने की प्रेरणा मिली है। अनाथ बच्चों के लिए मुख्यमंत्री सुख-आश्रय योजना शुरू की तथा सरकारी कर्मचारियों के लिए पुरानी पेंशन बहाल की गई। ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि जनमत एवं पार्टी विचारधारा के साथ दगा करना हिमाचल की संस्कृति नहीं है।
यहां के लोग ईमानदार हैं और जब कोई भी जन-प्रतिनिधि अपना ईमान बेचता है तो उसे प्रदेश की जनता कभी माफ नहीं करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्तमान राज्य सरकार पांच साल तक लोगों की सेवा करती रहेगी और किसान, महिलाएं और युवा ही हमारी ताकत हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि वह सत्ता के भूखे नहीं हैं और जीवन भर उन्होंने संघर्ष किया है। हम सत्ता सुख के लिए नहीं बल्कि व्यवस्था परिवर्तन के लिए आए हैं।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि विपक्ष ने सत्ता की लालसा में अफवाहें फैलाई। आम लोगों का बजट पास न हो, इसका षड्यंत्र रचा गया। बजट 2024-25 में आम आदमी की आवाज है और 40 वर्षों में पहली बार ऐसा बजट प्रस्तुत किया गया जिसमें समाज के सभी वर्गों का ध्यान रखा गया है। इसमें राज्य सरकार द्वारा 1.15 लाख विधवाओं के बच्चों की उच्च शिक्षा का खर्च वहन करने का प्रावधान है।
मनरेगा मजदूरी में बढ़ौतरी, गाय के दूध का खरीद मूल्य बढ़ाकर 45 रुपए और भैंस के दूध का 55 रुपए करने तथा पुलिस की डाइट मनी बढ़ाकर एक हजार रुपये करने की बात है। कर्मचारियों को चार प्रतिशत महंगाई भत्ता दिया गया है। बजट में प्राकृतिक खेती पद्धति से पैदा गेहूं का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य 40 रुपए तथा मक्की का 30 रुपए तय किया गया है। हमने लूट के दरवाजों को बंद किया और जनता का पैसा जनता के हित में ही उपयोग हो, यह भी सुनिश्चित किया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि हिमाचल ने इतिहास की सबसे बड़ी आपदा का सामना किया और अपने सीमित संसाधनों से राज्य सरकार ने 4500 करोड़ रुपए का विशेष राहत पैकेज आपदा प्रभावितों के लिए जारी किया। आम लोगों को राहत प्रदान करने के लिए राजस्व लोक अदालतों का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। भ्रष्टाचार पर सख्त कदम उठाते हुए वर्तमान राज्य सरकार ने हिमाचल प्रदेश अधीनस्थ कर्मचारी चयन आयोग को भंग किया और युवाओं के भविष्य के साथ खिलवाड़ करने वालों को जेल की सलाखों के पीछे पहुंचाया।
सरकारी क्षेत्र में राज्य सरकार 22 हजार नौकरियां प्रदान कर रही है। प्रदेश में संवैधानिक परम्पराओं का बखूबी निर्वहन करने की दिशा में कुलदीप सिंह पठानिया के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि ईमानदारी तथा लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों को बनाए रखने के लिए उनका नाम इतिहास के पन्नों में स्वर्ण अक्षरों में लिखा जाएगा। इससे पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री खुली जीप में सभा स्थल तक पहुंचे और लोगों ने गर्मजोशी के साथ उनका स्वागत किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने भटियात तहसील में गांव सारना, सिलोह, चलाड़ी और समीपवर्ती क्षेत्रों के लिए 2.20 करोड़ रुपये की उठाऊ पेयजल योजना और तहसील भटियात में उपरली बडीगी व निचली बडीगी के लिए 1.17 करोड़ रुपये की पेयजल योजना का लोकार्पण किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने समोट और भटियात खंड के अन्य गांवों के लिए 15.53 करोड़ रुपये से निर्मित होने वाली पेयजल योजना, तहसील भटियात की 12.59 करोड़ रुपये से निर्मित होने वाली बहाव सिंचाई योजना रजैं, सरोग के पुननिर्माण कार्य, तहसील भटियात के गांव जतरूण, त्रिमथ व सलोह के 4.32 करोड़ रुपये से होने वाले बाढ़ बचाव कार्य, तहसील सिंहुता के गांव मतौला के 1.79 करोड़ रुपये से होने वाले बाढ़ बचाव कार्य, चुवाड़ी शहर के लिए 25.90 करोड़ रुपये से पेयजल योजना के सुधार एवं संवर्द्धन कार्य, शाहपुर-सिंहुता-चौरी जोत चंबा रोड पर काली घार के उपर 3.86 करोड़ रुपये के भूस्खलन रोकथाम कार्य और सिंहुता से जोलना खास सड़क के 6.43 करोड़ रुपये के उन्नयन कार्य की आधारशिला भी रखी।
प्रदेश विधानसभा के अध्यक्ष कुलदीप सिंह पठानिया ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने अपने कल्याणकारी निर्णयों से प्रदेश की जनता का दिल जीता है। सामाजिक सुरक्षा कार्यक्रम शुरू कर मुख्यमंत्री ने इतिहास रचा है। कानून के तहत प्रावधान कर राज्य सरकार ने 4000 अनाथ बच्चों को ‘चिल्ड्रन ऑफ द स्टेट’ के रूप में अपनाया है।
उन्होंने कहा कि किसान अपने फसल उत्पादों पर केंद्र सरकार से न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य की मांग कर रहे हैं जबकि राज्य सरकार ने प्राकृतिक खेती से पैदा गेहूं एवं मक्का के समर्थन मूल्य में ऐतिहासिक वृद्धि के साथ ही दूध खरीद पर भी न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य प्रदान किया है।उन्होंने कहा कि देश में दल-बदल कानून लागू है, जिसका अभिप्राय है कि राजनीति का व्यापारीकरण न हो।
उन्होंने कहा कि भटियात विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 300 करोड़ रुपए की परियोजनाओं पर कार्य चल रहा है तथा अगले वर्ष एक हजार करोड़ रुपए की परियोजनाओं पर काम होगा। इस अवसर पर विधायक नीरज नैयर व मलेंद्र राजन, पूर्व मंत्री आशा कुमारी, पूर्व विधायक सुरेंद्र भारद्वाज, जिला चंबा के कार्यकारी कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष कमल ठाकुर, उपायुक्त मुकेश रेप्सवाल सहित अन्य गणमान्य उपस्थित थे।
