International Conference on image tech held at RBU

Mohali : Department of Radiology and Image Technology, University School of Allied Health Sciences of Rayat Bahra University organised the first International Conference on Mathematics Education (ICME)-2023, in collaboration with the RAD-AID International (USA) and Association of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
The theme of the conference was `Emerging Technology and Techniques in Mammographic Imaging.” The primary focus of this conference was to provide a platform for skill development and refresher courses for radiological technologists and students of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology.
Speakers from India and abroad with their expertise and knowledge in the field of Mammographic Imaging contributed to the event and provided valuable insights to the audience.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, was the Chief Guest and Dr Ravinder Kaur, Professor and Head, Radiology, Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, was the Guest of Honor along with Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh inaugurated the ICME-2023, which was held in Hybrid Mode using YouTube and Zoom for the convenience of a global audience.
Dr Harnoor Singh and Olive Peart were the international speakers from the USA while Dr Lalit Gupta and Madhu were among the national speakers. Scientific sessions were chaired by Prof SS Gill, Dr Ravinder Kaur, Dr N Khandelwal, Dr SC Bansal, Mohan Bhagwat and Suresh Malayath.
More than 150 delegates in physical mode and more than 300 delegates attended the ICME in virtual mode. The CME ended with students of the Department of Radiology and Image Technology presenting a cultural programme.
