PEC Organized a Workshop on “Innovation Circle: Communicating the Culture of Innovation to Enterprises

Chandigarh : National Council for Science and Technology communication, DST, Govt. of India, New Delhi in collaboration with Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh on 1st February, 2024 organized a workshop titled “Innovation Circle: Communicating the Culture of Innovation to Enterprises.”
This endeavor is a critical part of a larger vision of the country i.e. Viksit [email protected]. Parveen Arora, Advisor, Department of Science and Technology; Dr. JS Juneja, Chairman, Global Projects and Services (P) Ltd., inaugurated the workshop by lighting the lamp.
Along with them Prof. Pradosh Nath, Director, Centre for Knowledge Ideas and Development Studies (KnIDS), and Prof. AN Goswami, Research Coordinator, Centre for Knowledge Ideas and Development Studies were also present at this ceremony.Followed by a session on Innovation and its importance in industry and current market by Dr. Juneja, Dr. Nath, Dr. Arora and other esteemed speakers.
Prof. Rajesh Bhatia, Dean Academic Affairs highlighted the importance of Innovation and shared how PEC has adopted various measures to teach students about entrepreneurship and Innovation by offering various courses. Dr. Manish Kumar, professor-In-Charge Dean Academic Affairs, mentioned the importance of Innovation in today’s world.
Various industry experts and entrepreneurs joined the session and discussed their experiences and challenges they faced during their journey and how technology and innovation can provide solutions for the same.
