Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia Inaugurates of New Canteen at PEC Chandigarh

Chandigarh : A new canteen was inaugurated at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh today on 24th January, 2024. This new building of the canteen was inaugurated by the Director of PEC, Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia along with Registrar Col. (Veteran) R. M. Joshi, DSA Dr. D. R. Prajapati and all the members of faculty and staff of the Institute.
Director, Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia congratulated the staff members of Estate Office and all the faculty members of the institute for this new venture at the campus. He said that the place has a unique warmth and affordable rates of food items.
This new canteen has a special sitting arrangement for the faculty and staff members. It has separate washroom attached to it. Variety of beverages such as coffee, tea, iced tea, soft drinks; shakes; different types of snacks & sandwiches; fast food items such as noodles, maggie, etc will be served here at reasonable & controlled prices. Along with this, complete care has also been taken about hygiene and cleanliness.
Now this canteen is officially opened for students, staff and faculty of PEC. Along with a small cafe had also been inaugurated by Director Prof. (Dr.) Baldev Setia, on 23rd January, 2024 in the campus. Both the food places are now in working mode. It’s more feasible for research scholars and students to have avail this facility during their longer study hours.
