CGC Landran hoists the national flag to mark 75th Republic Day

Landran : Paying remarkable tributes to the nation on its 75th Republic Day, Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran, celebrated the event with full patriotic zeal. The celebrations commenced with a smart march past by students of CGC’s NCC wing. They were inspected by the Campus Director of CGC Landran who was accompanied by Deans, Directors, students and members of the faculty.
This was followed by the awe-inspiring flag-hoisting ceremony. It is also worth noting that two students from the NCC wing of CGC Landran – Cadet Aryan Rathee, pursuing BCA, and Cadet Ved Vyas, pursuing B.Tech ECE, have been selected for the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2024. They will be making the institution proud by marching in the PM’s NCC Rally scheduled to be held at New Delhi tomorrow, i.e. January 27, 2024.
Extending heartiest best wishes to the students and faculty on the auspicious occasion, Dr. P.N. Hrisheekesha, Campus Director, CGC Landran paid rich homage to the founding fathers of India’s constitution. Calling upon the youth to contribute towards nation-building through their talents he also urged them to never forget the sacrifices made by gallant men and women in the service of the nation.
The event concluded with cultural presentations including folk dances, skits, poem recitations and patriotic songs by CGC students that made the celebrations wholesome; infusing them with the spirit of national unity and love for the motherland.
