Bharat Pitchathon 2.0 organised at CGC Landran

Landran : ACIC-RISE Association, CEC, CGC Landran in Association with Headstart Network Foundation, Bengaluru, organised ‘Bharat Pitchathon 2.0’, on campus, at CGC. The event served as a great platform, for bringing together entrepreneurs, startups especially from non-metro cities and potential angel investors, representatives from VC Funds for networking, fundraising opportunities, visibility and market access.

In addition to a panel discussion on the topic –‘The Bharat Opportunity-Beyond Metros, the Next Startup Wave’-,  10 startups from the tricity area got the opportunity to pitch their ideas to 15 angel investors and representatives of VC funds present at the event. The startups, going forward, would be extended funding support and mentorship.

Currently supporting 38 startups, ACIC RISE association, CGC Landran was established in the year 2021.

Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC) RISE Association supported by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, GoI, aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship culture in semi-urban and rural India. Bharat Pitchathon is the brainchild of a group of inspired entrepreneurs seeking to unearth and provide visibility to hidden startup gems and aspiring entrepreneurs from non-metro cities, tier 2 & 3 towns, from across India, and connect them with investors and VC fund representatives who can help bolster their startups.

The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony of all the invited guests including startup founders and student volunteers Abhay, Shreya and Sanithya. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Ruchi Singla, Director, ACIC RISE Association, CGC Landran.
