BJP leader and MLA East Constituency, Yudhvir Sethi today convened a crucial meeting with the Engineering Wing of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to review the ongoing development works in various wards of the constituency.
The meeting witnessed a detailed discussion on the pace and quality of development works being executed in Wards No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 19, and 71. In the meeting XEN Janak Arora, AEE Sahil Arora, AEE Sonalika Arora, JE Sushil Magotra, and JE Rakesh Kumar were present.
Yudhvir Sethi laid strong emphasis on expediting the pace of ongoing development works without compromising on quality. He reiterated that timely and efficient execution of public works is the top priority for him, adding that the JMC’s Engineering Wing is experienced and capable of delivering as per expectations.
The senior BJP leader directed the officials to ensure the completion of all ongoing works in the mentioned wards within the next 15 days. “Only after this phase is complete can we proceed to the next set of development works, which have already been identified for other areas in the constituency,” he stated.
Highlighting his commitment to civic development, Yudhvir Sethi said, “It is my responsibility to address every civic issue faced by the residents of East Constituency. I have already assured the people that no ward or locality will be left behind in terms of development during my tenure.”
Yudhvir Sethi also made an appeal to the residents of the East Constituency to remain vigilant and actively monitor the development activities in their respective areas. “Public participation ensures transparency and accountability,” he noted.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with the Engineering Wing officials assuring timely action and adherence to quality standards in all development projects.
