Women community centers will be established in all villages of the Ambala Cantonment Assembly Constituency – Anil Vij

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij announced that women’s community centers (Mahila Chaupal) will be established in all villages of the Ambala Cantonment Assembly Constituency. In addition, he said that all villages located on Narayangarh Road within the Ambala Cantonment Assembly Constituency will now receive electricity from the Ambala Cantonment feeder, which will be connected to the Babiyal substation of Ambala Cantonment.
To facilitate electricity-related grievance redressal, the pre-designated electricity complaint center in the village of Garnala will be made operational soon. Sh. Vij provided this information while addressing residents from Panjokhra Sahib and other villages during a public grievance hearing in Ambala Cantonment today.
The Energy Minister said efforts are underway to provide better and uninterrupted electricity to the public. As part of this initiative, all villages along Narayangarh Road in the Ambala Cantonment constituency will receive power supply from the Ambala Cantonment substation.
He added that a new complaint center is being set up in Garnala where residents can register their electricity-related complaints. This center will be operational soon. During the public greivances redressing, residents from Panjokhra Sahib and nearby villages informed Minister Vij about their electricity issues, for which he immediately directed the concerned electricity officials to take necessary action.
Women’s community centers to be built in all villages of Ambala Cantonment – Vij
Sh. Vij announced that women’s community centers (“Mahila Chaupal”) will be established in all villages of the Ambala Cantonment Assembly Constituency. These centers will serve as cultural hubs where women can gather for various activities such as devotional singing (bhajans), kirtans and other programs. Each center will be equipped with harmoniums, dholaks and other musical instruments.
Vij redresses to public grievances and directs officials
At his residence in Ambala cantt. today, Sh. Anil Vij redressed the concerns of residents from the Ambala Cantonment constituency and issued instructions to the relevant officials. Residents from Himmatpura and other areas were apprised that they were shown a religious film at a specific location with the intent to convert them to another religion. Minister Vij directed the Padav Police Station to take appropriate action.
A woman from Ganesh Vihar complained that she was verbally abused by Discom staff and others. Minister Vij directed the Mahesh Nagar Police Station to investigate and take necessary action. Similarly, residents of Machhonda demanded an upgrade in transformer capacity.
Minister Vij instructed the Discom officials present on the spot to carry out the upgrade immediately. He also gave instructions to the concerned departments on other complaints received during the hearing.
Saini Sabha Ambala Cantonment honors Minister Anil Vij
Today, office-bearers of the newly formed Saini Sabha Ambala Cantonment met with Energy Minister Anil Vij at his residence and honored him. The Sabha members informed him that the organization was recently registered and sought his blessings. Fakir Chand Saini and other office-bearers were present during the meeting.
