Victory Celebration of India Win Over Pakistan to Be Held on May 18 in Ambala Cantonment with a Tiranga Yatra – Anil Vij

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh.Anil Vij said that the victory celebration of India’s win over Pakistan will be held with great enthusiasm in Ambala Cantonment through a Tiranga Yatra (Tricolor March). This yatra will begin at 10 AM on Sunday, May 18, from Government College, Ambala Cantonment. 

He said that invitations will be distributed to all for participation in the Tiranga Yatra. As Ambala Cantonment is a military base, its residents are full of zeal and the yatra will include ex-servicemen and others, which will boost the morale of soldiers.

Sh. Vij was addressing a large gathering of people and BJP workers this afternoon at Grace Palace in Ambala Cantonment, regarding the organization of the Tiranga Yatra. He said that the Yatra is being conducted with the spirit of patriotism, involving all sections of society. 

He called upon the people/workers to go door to door to distribute invitations and also extend them to various social, religious, educational and other institutions. The Energy and Transport Minister said that recently, Pakistan committed a cowardly act in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Under the leadership of our Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, a war was fought to teach Pakistan a lesson and to destroy terrorist bases. 

Within just three days, Pakistan was defeated. India destroyed many terrorist hideouts in Pakistan, approximately 100 terrorists were killed and several air bases were destroyed. Sh. Vij said that there is an atmosphere of joy throughout the country regarding this victory, and people are expressing their happiness by organizing Tiranga Yatras.

He said that these Yatra are being held in every city across the nation and he also want to organize a grand yatra in their city to honor the soldiers, which is why everyone has gathered today.

The yatra will pass through various markets of the Cantonment – Vij

Sh. Anil Vij said that invitations will be extended to the general public and the educational, religious, social and other institutions in the city so that everyone can come together to celebrate this victory. The yatra will begin at 10 AM from Government College and will pass through Kabaadi Bazaar, Sabzi Mandi, Sadar Bazaar and Nishat Road, ending back at the college. 

He urged people/workers to encourage maximum participation to always keep the morale of the armed forces high and to ensure that every citizen remains filled with patriotic fervor.

Energy Minister said that we are organizing this yatra with a patriotic spirit. This is a national yatra, a yatra of the Tricolor and the tricolor belongs to everyone. It transcends religion, caste or political party. 

Invitations will be distributed to everyone for participation. He emphasized that as Ambala Cantonment is a military base, its residents are full of enthusiasm and the participation of ex-servicemen and others will enhance the morale of the soldiers.

Before the program began, Energy Minister Sh. Anil Vij was given a grand welcome by the people and BJP workers. On this occasion, Municipal Council Chairperson Swarn Kaur, Vice Chairperson Lalta Prasad, BJP leaders Kapil Vij, Jasbir Singh Jassi, Balwinder Shahpur, Om Sehgal, Som Chopra, Surinder Bindra, Madan Lal Sharma, Rajiv Gupta, Kiran Pal Chauhan, Ravi Budhiraja, Harsh Bindra, Vikas Behl, Pravesh Sharma, Ashish Aggarwal, Sanjeev Soni, B.S. Bindra, Ajay Baveja, Rambabu Yadav, Bharat Kochhar, Puneet Sirpal, Fakir Chand, Balit Nagpal and Tarvinder Singh were also present.
