Under the “War on Drugs” campaign, Karamjit Singh Rintu took oath from the people to stay away from drugs

Chairman Improvement Trust Amritsar Karamjit Singh today organized programs to create awareness against drugs in ward numbers 13, 14, 15 under the North Vidhan Sabha constituency under the Punjab government’s anti-drug campaign “War on Drugs”. 

He administered the oath to everyone present in the program organized under the anti-drug campaign. After this, an awareness march was taken out with the local people, youth and social workers, in which the message was given to the people to stay away from drugs and to make others aware as well. 

Chairman Rintu said that the cooperation of all the people is very important under the “War on Drugs” campaign. He said that the Punjab government is taking strict action against drug smugglers. He said that the cooperation of everyone is very important in this campaign. 

He said that under this campaign, helpline numbers 98236-00007, 9779100200 have been started, on which any person can give information related to drug trafficking. His name will be kept confidential. On this occasion, Councilor Gurvinder Kaur of Ward No. 13, Incharge of Ward No. 14 Bobby Sarin, Incharge of Ward No. 15 Karamjit Singh Kaka, Arvind Bhatti, Balwinder Singh Kala, SHO Harinder Singh and a large number of people were present.
