Three Sports Coaches Appointed in Dirba Constituency, Thanks to Efforts Harpal Singh Cheema

Thanks to the sincere efforts of Punjab’s Finance and Planning Minister, Harpal Singh Cheema, three sports coaches have been appointed in Dirba constituency by the Punjab government. These coaches will train young people in various sports and provide guidance on healthy living.

The coaches were introduced to the players in the presence of Shri Harpal Singh Cheema, who said that the Punjab government is establishing sports nurseries in villages to improve sports standards in the state. Under this initiative, three sports coaches have been appointed in Dirba constituency, specifically in villages Kohrian, Chhahad, and Dirba.

Sukhwinder Kaur has been appointed as Kabaddi coach in Dirba, Satjinder Kaur as Volleyball coach in Kohrian, and Suraj Kumar as Football coach in Chhahad. Harpal Singh Cheema congratulated the coaches and directed them to engage more youth in sports and improve the sports standards in Punjab.

He said that the time is not far when young people from Punjab’s villages will lead the country at the international level and bring laurels. He added that the Punjab government is committed to promoting sports and providing opportunities to young people to excel in their chosen fields.

The event was attended by Nagar Sudhar Trust Sangrur Chairman Harpreet Singh Pitu, OSD Shri Tapinder Singh Sohi, District Sports Officer Shri Navdeep Singh, and a large number of local residents and players.
