Students should have focussed approach towards studies, foresee career prospects while selecting academic stream, T Benith

Deputy Commissioner Barnala T Benith today honored Keshav Mittal, the UG NEET topper of state at DC office.Appreciating Keshav for securing first place in state and seventh place in the country, Deputy Commissioner congratulated Keshav and his family for attaining the success.
He said that students should adopt a focused approach towards studies and foresee career prospects while selecting academic stream. He added that the Punjab govenrment imparts career counselling to students at the school level as well as through the district bureaus of employment and entreprises so that students can take informed decisions about their careers.
Keshav shared that he has been regularly giving various levels of mock competitive tests as well as other national level olympiads to test his prowess in various subjects. Keshav added that his teachers counselled him in selection of subjects and guided him on attaining his dream of becoming a doctor.
SDM Tapa Simarpreet Kaur, Keshav’s father Dr Prabodh Mittal, mother Mrs Sunita Mittal, grandfather Mr. Kewal Krishan Mittal were also present.
