Panja Punjab Da, a sports event, was organised at Rayat Bahra University wherein Abdhesh won gold medal in 50 kg Boys category while Nandini bagged gold medal in 50 kg Girls category. Dr Mahesh Jetty, Director of Sports. said Chancellor of Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra was the Chief Guest.
Bahra, while speaking on the occasion, lauded the initiative of the Sports Department in organising the event and expressed optimism that it would motivate the students to participate in sporting activities. Jetly said a total of 161 boys and girls participated in the competition.
