Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla released a book titled “Say No to Drugs, Choose a Better Life” at Raj Bhavan today. The book is authored and published by Keshav Ram Lothata, Director, Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti.
The book addresses the critical issue of drug addiction and aims to promote awareness. The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Samiti and emphasized the need for a collective fight against drugs.
He said that drug addiction was one of the most alarming social challenges of our time, and initiatives like this play a crucial role in educating and guiding the younger generation towards a healthy and responsible life. Commending the efforts of the society, the Governor exhorted the youth to support this noble cause.
Mayor Surinder Chauhan, Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal were also present on the occasion. Amongst others welfare activities, Manav Kalyan Samiti’s anti-drug campaign aims to create awareness about the harmful effects of drugs and to encourage healthier life choices.
