Sanjeev Arora Accorded Warm Welcome with Drums, Petals, and Slogans at Poll Rally

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora received a warm welcome from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers during a poll meeting held at Gopal Nagar in the Haibowal area, on Sunday evening. He was greeted with the beating of drums, showers of flower petals, and garlands.

Enthusiastic party members, including both men and women, waved party flags and raised slogans in support of the AAP and Arora. Addressing the gathering, Arora thanked everyone for their warm welcome.

He presented a three-year report card highlighting the significant development work undertaken across the city and assured residents that he would continue to work tirelessly if elected to power.

He urged voters to cast their ballots for development, stating that it is his sole agenda in the upcoming election. Arora praised the state government, led by AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, for implementing “pro-people” policies and programmes.

He especially emphasised the progress made in the education sector, noting a substantial improvement in the standards of government schools. He appealed to parents to enroll their children in government schools and emphasised the transformative power of education.

“Children are our future engineers, doctors, and leaders,” he said, adding that education plays a vital role in achieving progress and prosperity. AAP leader Vijay Danav lauded Arora for his commitment to the city’s development, describing him as a leader with a hands-on approach.

He noted that unlike other politicians who merely make promises, Arora believes in practical work and is always accessible to the public. Davinder Singh Ghuman and Sanjay Disawar also addressed the gathering, commending Arora for his selfless service over the past three years. They said they had not seen such a dynamic leader in their political careers.
