Rotary Club Organizes RYLA Program for School Students

The Rotary Club Ropar Central recently hosted a dynamic RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) program at Bela Pharmacy College, engaging around 125 students from various schools. The event was inaugurated with a warm welcome address by Club President Rotarian Kultar Singh, who set the tone for an inspiring day.
Professor Navjit Kaur introduced the RYLA leadership program, highlighting its significance in nurturing young leaders. Rotarion M.P. Gupta, District Governor Nominee, motivated students to work diligently toward their goals, emphasizing that India’s future lies in the hands of its youth.
The Guest of Honor, Rotarion Harsimar Singh Sitta, delivered an insightful address on pursuing careers in law, while Rotarian Ajmer Singh encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship. A unique session on CRP technology by the Red Cross Society equipped students with life-saving skills for emergency situations like heart attacks.
The program also featured cultural activities and fun games, organized by the college faculty, which added a lively touch to the event. In his vote of thanks, College Director Dr. Shailesh Sharma expressed gratitude to the guests and participants, underscoring the importance of leadership programs in holistic personality development.
The event was meticulously organized by a dedicated team, including Professor Jaspreet Kaur, Devinder Kumar, Harsimran Singh, Sharanpreet Singh, and Dr. Rahul Kumar Sharma. This initiative not only inspired students but also fostered a spirit of leadership and community service.
