Rayat Bahra University bags Best Placement University award

Rayat Bahra University (RBU) has bagged the coveted Best Placement University Award for 2025. The award instituted by Zee TV, was presented by Punjab Minister for Higher Education Harjot Singh Bains at a glittering function held in Chandigarh on Thursday late evening.

The Education Minister lauded the services of Rayat Bahra University in the field of education and noted that it had started a number of job-oriented courses which had helped it to excel in the field of placements. The award was received by Gurinder Singh Bahra, Vice-Chairman of Rayat Bahra Group of institutes.

Speaking on the occasion, Bahra said RBU experienced an upswing in placements, with more than 1,400 companies so far visiting the campus and offering jobs in over 50 domains. The highest package offered by the company during placements was INR 45 LPA by Google , and the average package was INR 4.75 LPA.

He said that the top recruiters included Nestle, Amul, Paytm, SBI General, Axis Bank, Eicher, Amazon ,Wipro, Mahindra, Tech-Mahindra,Ranbaxy,Royal-Enfield, Havells and other well-known companies, showcasing a wide range of industries seeking RBU graduates.

The university’s emphasis on industry-relevant skills and training programmes contributes to the upswing in placements and the attractiveness of its graduates to companies, Bahra added.
