Punjab Government is getting success in “War on Drugs” campaign: Karamjit Singh Rintu

Karamjit Singh Rintu, Chairman of lmprovement Trust Amritsar, today organized programs under the “War on Drugs” campaign in Ward No. 6, 7 and 8 of North Vidhan Sabha constituency. People were administered an anti-drug oath and an awareness march was taken out.
Karamjit Singh Rintu said that the Punjab Government is getting success in its “War on Drugs” campaign. He said that the Punjab Police is seizing a huge quantity of heroin and arresting the smugglers. He said that such a huge recovery of narcotics has never been done before.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has started a decisive fight against drugs in which the cooperation of the people is very important. He said that only with the cooperation of the people can we get rid of this bad habit of drugs.
Senior Deputy Mayor Priyanka Sharma, Ritesh Sharma, Arvind Bhatti, Ward No. 6 Incharge Ankur Gupta, Ward No. 7 Councilor Kajal Bobby, Ward No. 8 Incharge Pranav Dhawan, Balwinder Singh Kala, SHO Ranjit Singh, SHO Harinder Singh and a large number of people from the area were present on this occasion.
