Our government has made full arrangements for the Kanwar Yatra, including deployment of police – Anil Vij

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij said that the state government has made comprehensive arrangements for the Kanwar Yatra, including security measures such as police deployment, to ensure that Kanwariyas (pilgrims) reach their destinations safely. Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by media personnel today.

When asked about the arrangements made by the Transport Department for the Kanwar Yatra and the Kanwariyas, he said that people participate in the Kanwar Yatra with deep devotion, as it is not only a part of our religious practices but also an expression of people’s faith. He added that “India is a sentiment-driven country, and it is the responsibility of every government to ensure that the sentiments of people of all religions are respected and unharmed.”

In response to a question about launching a special bus service for women between Ambala and Mullana, he said that a large number of people travel on this route daily, with a significant portion being women. “There was a growing demand for a special bus service for women, and I have issued instructions for this service to begin,” he said.
