Krishan Kumar Bedi lays foundation stone of road project in Narwana

Haryana’s Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Welfare and Antyodaya (SEWA) Minister Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi laid the foundation stone of village Khararwal to Kaloda Yojak Road in Narwana constituency.

An amount of Rs. 1.75 crore will be spent on the road, to be built by the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board, which is about three and a quarter kilometers long. In his address, the Cabinet Minister said the construction of the road will make the journey from Khararwal via Kaloda to Danoda easier.

Due to the lack of road, the residents of Khararwal, Kaloda and Danoda had to travel an additional 9 km to go to Narwana or Tohana. Sh. Bedi also directed the departmental officers to start the work of repairing the Khardwal to Lohchab connecting road next week.

He said work is being done to find a permanent solution to the problem of drinking water and irrigation in Khardwal and nearby villages.
