Heartfelt Gratitude to the People of Mohali for the Grand Success of the “Samvidhan Bachao Rally”: Balbir Singh Sidhu

Former Health Minister and senior Congress leader Balbir Singh Sidhu has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of the Mohali Assembly constituency for ensuring the grand success of the “Samvidhan Bachao Rally” held yesterday at Sector 78, Mohali. The rally witnessed participation from thousands of citizens and was graced by prominent leaders, including Punjab Congress President Raja Warring.

Thanking the people of Mohali, Sidhu said, “Yesterday, the land of Mohali once again created history as thousands gathered to raise their voice in defence of democracy. This was not just a rally – it was a people’s movement to protect the Constitution. 

The overwhelming turnout sends a clear message: our people remain vigilant and committed to safeguarding their constitutional rights and democratic values.” Speaking with emotion, Sidhu added, “We are deeply grateful to the people of Mohali. 

Despite adverse weather conditions, your patriotism and sense of duty shone through. You participated peacefully and responsibly, embodying the spirit of an aware citizen. Your enthusiasm, your trust, and your unwavering support are our true strength.”

Sidhu emphasized that the rally has become a symbol of justice, equality, religious freedom, and constitutional protection. “Through this rally, we have sent a strong message to the people of Punjab and the entire nation – the Constitution is our foundation. 

As long as it stands strong, our democracy will remain unshaken.”With deep conviction, Sidhu stated, “The soul of our nation – our Constitution, our democracy, and our diverse society – is under threat. 

But the Congress Party, as the only truly national force, stands firm in this battle to defend them. We will never allow the dictatorship that the BJP and RSS seek to impose to succeed.”

In conclusion, Sidhu once again thanked the people of Mohali, saying, “This constituency is my extended family, with whom I have shared a bond for over 35 years. The love and support you have always given me humbles me. 

Yesterday, you once again proved that when the people rise, history is written.”
