Haryana to Showcase Development Roadmap at NITI Aayog’s 10th Governing Council Meeting in Delhi

Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi today participated via videoconferencing in a meeting chaired by Cabinet Secretary Sh. T.V. Somanathan to review preparations for the forthcoming 10th Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog and the preparatory work for the 5th National Chief Secretaries Conference.

Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will chair the 10th Governing Council meeting of the NITI Aayog on May 24 in New Delhi on the theme ‘Viksit Rajya for Viksit Bharat@2047’. Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will be attending this meeting. The preparatory meeting emphasised the importance of collaborative federalism in realizing the goals of industrial growth, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and digital governance. 

The agendas will focus on several key pillars of development including economic growth, infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, digital transformation, and sustainability. The Chief Secretary stated that Haryana is in the advanced stages of preparing its state’s Vision Document 2047.

D Suresh, Commissioner & Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Secretary, Home, Geeta Bharti, Special Secretary, Monitoring & Coordination, Dr. Priyanka Soni, Additional Director (Admn.), Information Public Relation & Languages, Smt. Varsha Khangwal and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
