Haryana Government creates favorable environment to promote industries : Nayab Singh Saini

Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini stated that the state government has created a favorable and robust industrial environment to promote industries in Haryana. As a result, Haryana has emerged as the preferred destination for industries and companies not only at the national level but also internationally.

The Chief Minister urged industrialists to establish their industrial units in Haryana and actively contribute to the state’s progress and development.Sh Nayab Singh Saini was addressing the representatives of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, late last evening. 

Prominent industrialists from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi were present on the occasion.Sh Nayab Singh Saini emphasized that for industrial development in any state, it is essential to have robust road, rail, air connectivity, and other infrastructure facilities. 

He expressed pride that Haryana offers all these facilities in accordance with the needs of the industries. Today, major companies from various sectors are establishing their units in the state, thereby boosting Haryana’s industrial growth.

The Chief Minister stated that the government has implemented several reforms to strengthen direct communication between the government and industrialists and to create a more favorable environment for industries. 

He highlighted that, moving beyond the single window system, a single roof system has been introduced, which sets a fixed time frame for every service. The process for obtaining NOCs from various departments has been simplified, with a minimum turnaround time of 15 days and a maximum of 45 days.

Nayab Singh Saini stated that, as Finance Minister, he has made several announcements to promote industrial development and startups in the Haryana Budget for the year 2025-26. He mentioned that plans are underway to develop 10 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) in the state. 

Additionally, efforts are being made to strengthen the startup ecosystem to support budding entrepreneurs. To encourage research and development as well as private investment, the government is creating a Fund of Funds.

He stated that the Department of Future has been established to promote emerging technologies and innovations. The Chief Minister added that, to realize the vision of an inclusive budget, he conducted pre-budget consultations with people from various sections of society and invited their suggestions. 

n this process, he also engaged with industrialists and startups to understand their experiences and gather their input. The Chief Minister affirmed that the valuable suggestions received from industrialists and startups have been incorporated into the budget.

The Chief Minister stated that the State Government’s vision for a Developed Haryana by 2047, which includes adding new sectors to enhance Haryana’s contribution to India’s economy, aligns with Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi’s goal of a Developed India. 

He emphasized that the target is to transform Haryana into a 1 trillion dollar economy by 2047. Achieving this goal requires the active participation of all sectors, including industry, he added.On this occasion, Sh Nayab Singh Saini also unveiled the white paper on ‘Haryana: Gateway to Northern India’s Industrial Transformation’ and ‘Traditional Craft of Haryana on Global Runway’.

During the program, the Chief Minister invited suggestions from the prominent industrialists present and assured them of all possible support  from the State Government to promote industrial growth.Earlier in the event, Sh Hemant Jain, President of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Sh Karan Gilhotra, Chairman of the Punjab Chapter, welcomed the Chief Minister. They expressed their gratitude for the government’s efforts in creating a favorable environment for industries in the state.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sh Arun Gupta, Political Secretary to Chief Minister Sh Tarun Bhandari, OSD Sh Bharat Bhushan Bharti, Advisor ,Foreign Cooperation Department Haryana Sh Pawan Chaudhary, along with representatives of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry and other prominent industrialists, were also present.
