The Haryana Government has appointed link officers with the objective of ensuring smooth functioning of the vacant posts of Managing Directors of power corporations due to leave, training, tour, election duty or transfer, retirement or due to any other reason. According to a letter issued by Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi, in the case of Managing Director of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), MD of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vityran Nigam (UHBVN) has been appointed as Link Officer-1, MD of Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL) has been appointed as Link Officer-2 and MD of Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL) has been appointed as Link Officer-3.
In the case of MD of HPGCL, MD of HVPNL has been appointed as Link Officer-1 and MD of UHBVN has been appointed as Link Officer-2.
In the case of MD of HVPNL, MD of UHBVN has been appointed as Link Officer-1, MD of HPGCL has been appointed as Link Officer-2 and MD of DHBVN has been appointed as Link Officer-3.
In the case of MD of UHBVN, MD of DHBVN has been appointed as Link Officer-1, MD of HVPNL has been appointed as Link Officer-2 and MD of HPGCL has been appointed as Link Officer-3.
