Hardeep Singh Mundian inaugurates development projects worth over Rs 6 crore

Giving a major push to infrastructure development in different wards of Sahnewal constituency, Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian inaugurated different projects worth over Rs 6 crore in different wards falling under Sahnewal constituency on Tuesday.

While inaugurating the project worth around Rs 98 lakh for laying sewer lines in  Ganpati Vihar (ward number 22) on Tuesday, Cabinet Minister Mundian stated that a number of projects worth crores are being taken up to upgrade water-sewer lines, road infrastructure etc. Councillor Jaspal Singh Grewal, SDO Kamal among others were also present during the inauguration ceremony. 

Divulging details, cabinet minister Mundian said that a number of projects are being taken up for upgrading sewer infrastructure or laying new water-sewer lines in different areas of ward number 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25, which fall under Sahnewal constituency. Further tubewells are also being installed wherever required, to ensure potable water supply especially during the peak summer season.

Reiterating the commitment of Chief Minister (CM) Bhagwant Singh Mann led state government to ensure sustainable development across the state, Cabinet Minister Mundian said that quality infrastructure is being developed across the city. The officials have been directed to complete the projects within stipulated time period to facilitate the public at large. He further stated that more projects worth crores would be launched in the coming days

Cabinet Minister Mundian further stated that special cleanliness drives are also being organised across the city to ensure hygiene. He appealed to the public to support the authorities in keeping the city clean and green.
