Hardeep Singh Mundian dedicates infrastructure development projects worth Rs 1.02 crores in two govt schools

Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian on Tuesday dedicated infrastructure development projects worth Rs 1.02 crores at two government schools in the Sahnewal constituency. The inaugurated projects at Government Primary and Government Senior Secondary Schools in Dhandhari Khurd village.
Addressing the inauguration of ceremonies, the Minister added that Punjab Sikhya Kranti initiative focuses on upgrading school infrastructure, including modern school buildings, smart classrooms, updated furniture, state-of-the-art laboratories, secure boundary walls, clean drinking water facilities, and well-equipped libraries.
He emphasized that under Punjab Sikhya Kranti initiative, an investment of Rs 2,000 crores is being spent for the transformation of the schools. He reiterated the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) 2022 election promise to overhaul Punjab’s education and health sectors, stating, “We pledged to provide world-class infrastructure, recruit skilled professionals, and offer top-tier training.
Residents of villages expressed gratitude for the infrastructure upgrades. They stated that the new smart classrooms and boundary walls will make the schools a better place for learning. They thanked the Punjab government for prioritizing our children’s education.
