Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to review preparations for the Dharti Aaba – Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
The campaign themed “Tribal Welfare: From Vision to Mission” will be conducted across the district from June 15 to June 30, 2025. It aims at saturation of all government schemes for the tribal population and ensuring last-mile delivery of essential services.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for proactive and coordinated outreach, directing all 17 participating departments to ensure full preparedness for the implementation of 25 key interventions under the campaign.
He further instructed that all genuine issues and demands of the tribal population must be redressed promptly during the course of the campaign. The meeting was attended by officers from all line departments responsible for implementing tribal welfare programs.
