DC Kulgam Athar Aamir Khan visits Frisal

Continuing efforts to bring governance to the doorstep of the people, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today visited Frisal and held a public outreach programme to listen to the grievances, demands, and issues of the local residents.
During the programme, various delegations, civil society members, and locals from Frisal and adjoining areas raised several developmental and public service-related demands. These included the reservation and development of Shankpal Spring, construction of link roads to orchard areas, improvement of healthcare services, development of playfields and other essential needs.
DC gave a patient hearing to all the concerns and assured that the issues raised would be addressed in a time-bound manner. Responding to the demand for desilting and repair of irrigation canals, DC informed that 440 works have been incorporated under this year’s plan to ensure smooth irrigation facilities and boost agricultural productivity.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Viqar Ahmad Giri; DDC member Frisal, ACD, JDP, Executive Engineers, CEO, Tehsildar, BDO, and other officers were also present during the programme.
