In a goodwill gesture to boost the para players, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson District Red Cross Society, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Komal Mittal handed over sports Equipments and kits to two paraplayers, Saurav and Ranjit.
Divulging the details, Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Harbans Singh said that the equipments and kits included, Bedminton Rackets, Shuttles , Shoes, Kit Bag and Bedminton Wheel Chair. She also wishes them to excell in their sports field and earn laurels for the district.
He further said that District Administration Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar extends helping hand to the needy in emergent situation. Besides blood donation camps and camps for providing Artificial Limbs, Tri-Cycle and wheel chairs are also conducted to cater the needy people.
