Bram Shankar Jimpa performed the flag hoisting ceremony at Sri Siddheshwar Shiva Temple

At Shri Siddheshwar Shiv Mandir, Bassi Ghulam Hussain, Hoshiarpur, the flag hoisting ceremony was performed today by MLA Shri Bram Shanker Jimpa in the divine presence and with the blessings of the spiritual head Swami Udaygiri Ji Maharaj.

On this occasion, he stated that Swami Udaygiri Ji, the devoted disciple of the late Swami  BASANTGIRI Ji Maharaj, is serving humanity by following the spiritual path shown by his Guru. He added that Swami Udaygiri Ji has conducted several yajnas for world peace, universal welfare, and national interest.

He appealed to the devotees, emphasizing that it is our duty to contribute and participate in the grand “Rudrakoti Mahayajna”This yajna will be performed by scholars and devotees with 1101 fire pits (kunds) as planned by Maharaj Ji.

He further said that since Vedic times, yajnas have been a means for universal welfare and fulfillment, and science has also proven that performing havans purifies the atmosphere, which is especially crucial in today’s era of global warming.

On this occasion, Anurag Sood, General Secretary of Shri Siddheshwar Shiv Mandir Trust, said that given the current global unrest and widespread conflict, Swami Udaygiri Ji is promoting the message of adopting the Vedic path of yajna, havan, spiritual practices, selfless service, and service to humanity to overcome these situations.

Hence, on February 19, 2026, Swami Udaygiri Ji will perform the Rudrakoti Mahayajna. After the selection of land and the Bhoomi Pujan (ground sanctification ritual), preparations for the yajna have begun, and registrations for participation are now open.
