Amritsar DC Sakshi Sawhney inspires students to chase their dreams with dedication

Amritsar Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Tuesday visited Kishori Lal Jethi School of Eminence, Khanna, engaging with students as part of the Punjab Government’s School Mentorship Program. She encouraged students to chase their dreams with dedication and promised to guide and support throughout their journey.

Interacting with the students, Sawhney inspired them to pursue their ambitions with passion, whether they aspire to be IAS or IPS officers, scientists, singers, businessman, sportspersons, or anything else. “Your dreams are yours to achieve, and I’m here to help you every step of the way,” she said, committing to be a lifelong mentor for the school.

“I’m not just here today—I’m here for you always. Your ambitions matter, and together, we’ll turn them into reality,” she assured. She urged the students to stay disciplined, keep learning, and face setbacks with courage, reminding them that every challenge is a chance to grow stronger and wiser.

To foster a personal connection, Sawhney pledged to visit regularly, listen to the students’ goals, and provide personalized guidance to help them achieve their dreams. “Share your aspirations, and we will together build a roadmap to make them come true,” she said, sparking excitement among the students.

She also encouraged them to reach out to her directly for support, assuring them that her door is always open for any hurdles they might encounter. On the occasion, Amit Thapar from Ganga Acrowools also shared his story and how students can rise as successful businessman.
