Aman Arora Accelerates Development in Sunam Assembly Constituency with Projects Worth Over ₹4.85 Crore

Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora today further accelerated the pace of development in Sunam assembly constituency by laying the foundation stones for development works worth more than ₹4.85 crore and inaugurating a volleyball ground. These projects demonstrate the Punjab government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens.

One of the major projects includes the laying of the foundation stone for the state’s first Rehri Phadhi Mandi at Sunam, which will be constructed at a cost of ₹2.82 crore. Additionally, the construction of a permanent Phadh (flooring) at the new grain market will also be undertaken. 

Both these projects were long-standing demands of the city and its residents, and their completion will greatly benefit the local community. Under the Punjab government’s initiative to connect every farm in the state with canal water facilities, over 332 hectares of Sunam assembly constituency will soon get canal water after a long time. The work of laying pipelines has started in villages Nagra and Sanghredi, and Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora today initiated the work on this important project, which will cost ₹1.97 crore. 

This project will not only increase the economy of the farmers in the area but also improve the fertility of the land. Earlier, Minister Arora inaugurated a volleyball field prepared under the MGNREGA scheme in village Upali. 

The field, which cost over ₹5 lakh, was prepared to fulfill the demand of the village’s youth who had no playground to utilize their talent. Minister Arora expressed his satisfaction with the completion of the project and hoped that it would benefit the youth of the village.

Addressing a large gathering in the new grain market, Sunam, Mr. Aman Arora said that he has been continuously striving for the past three years to meet the expectations of the city residents. He expressed his commitment to fulfilling election promises and carrying out maximum development works in the next one and a half years. 

He highlighted the Punjab government’s efforts to combat drug addiction and promote economic growth in the state. These development projects demonstrate the Punjab government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens and promoting economic growth in the state.
