Akhand Path ceremony at CGC Landran to mark the beginning of 25th Academic Session and celebrate the institution 25th Anniversary

A three-day Akhand Path ceremony was organised in campus at CGC Landran to seek divine blessings before the beginning of the 25th academic session of the institution. The bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib was observed today, which was followed by Ardaas, soulful Kirtan and Guru Ka Langar. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman, CGC Landran, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC Landran, their family members, faculty members and all the employees of CGC Landran came together to offer their obeisance at the holy ceremony.
The event was followed by a commemorative logo unveiling ceremony marking CGC Landran’s 25th Anniversary. The logo symbolizes the institution’s stellar 25-years journey and its aspirations for an even brighter future, aiming to set higher benchmarks in research and academic excellence.
Reflecting on the journey since CGC Landran’s inception in 2001, Chairman, Satnam Singh Sandhu and President, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, recounted the struggles, challenges, growth, and transformation the institution has witnessed over the years. They highlighted how the Almighty’s blessings, and the hard work and persistent efforts of all the stakeholders paved the way for the institution’s growth and expansion.
Speaking on the occasion, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman CGC Landran said, “As we commemorate our institution’s 25th anniversary and the beginning of a new academic session, we humbly thank the Almighty for His countless blessings. Education has been our mission, guided by a collective vision to be original and impactful.
Our goal has always been to challenge ourselves, pioneer change and foster growth. As we move ahead, we must carry forward this legacy with renewed purpose. Embracing change, whether through the New Education Policy, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, or data-driven decision making, is vital in today’s fast-evolving academic landscape.
The sky is the limit for us all and it is our shared responsibility to take CGC Landran to even greater heights.” He also recalled CGC Landran’s pioneering role in regional higher education, such as being the first institution in the area to serve as a nodal centre for the e-Governance Cell.
He expressed heartfelt appreciation for the faculty’s dedication, urging everyone to continue working together to make CGC Landran a beacon of knowledge and a launchpad for future success. Both, Chairman, Satnam Singh Sandhu and President, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, extended their best wishes to students and faculty for a rewarding academic year filled with learning, growth and new achievements.
