AAP Gears Up for Ludhiana (West) Bypoll, Vows Victory for MP Arora

An important strategy meeting was held here on Tuesday by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to discuss preparations for the upcoming bypoll to the Ludhiana (West) assembly constituency. The meeting witnessed the participation of senior party leaders including AAP’s Punjab working president Sherry Kalsi, cabinet minister Dr. Ravjot Singh, MLAs, municipal councillors, party office-bearers, and grassroots workers.

The party’s candidate for the bypoll, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora, also attended the meeting. A unanimous resolution was passed to ensure Arora’s victory, under the leadership of AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab president Aman Arora and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

Party leaders emphasized that the election was more than just a political contest, it was an opportunity to further strengthen the values of honesty and service-driven governance that AAP stands for. They urged party cadres to work tirelessly at the grassroots level to ensure a decisive win.

Speaking at the event, Sherry Kalsi, Dr. Ravjot Singh, and other senior leaders praised Arora’s performance over the past three years. They described him as a development-oriented leader who has brought about visible changes in Ludhiana through passionate and selfless public service.

His contributions, they said, stand as a benchmark not seen in the region for decades. The leaders encouraged party workers to reach out to the public with the achievements of both the state government and MP Arora. “People of Ludhiana are fortunate to have a leader like Arora,” they said.

MP Arora, while addressing the gathering, wholeheartedly thanked the dedicated party workers who have been tirelessly working day and night to ensure his thumping victory in the upcoming bypoll. He acknowledged their unwavering commitment, saying that their hard work, sincerity, and belief in the party’s vision have been the real driving force behind the growing public support.

Arora expressed deep gratitude for the grassroots efforts being made across Ludhiana (West) and said he was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and unity shown by the team. He added that such dedication not only inspires him but also strengthens his resolve to serve the people with even greater zeal and honesty.

He also expressed gratitude towards AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for reposing faith in him—first by nominating him to the Rajya Sabha, and now by fielding him as the candidate for the bypoll.

He presented his three-year report card to the attendees and called upon them to make the public aware of the development work he has undertaken. The meeting concluded with renewed energy among party workers to intensify door-to-door campaigning in the run-up to the by-election.
