Ludhiana West Assembly segment has recorded 21.51 percent voter turnout as of 11 am in the second phase of polls on Thursday. District Election Officer Himanshu Jain stated that Voting, which began at 7 am today, is going on completely peaceful and smooth.
He stated that in the first two hours (7 am to 9 am), the voting percentage was 8.5 percent and till 11 am, it was 21.51 %. During the previous Vidhan Sabha election of Ludhiana West in 2022, the voting percentage was 9.75% till 11 am and it was 29.1% till 1 pm.
Jain encouraged voters to set a new record of turnout by coming out in massive numbers to cast their votes. The voting will continue till 6 pm. The Voting will continue until the last voter present inside the polling station casts their votes.
