Young Guns Of Pulwama Outshines in 45th National Powerlifting Championship

Pulwama : Three youngsters From South Kashmir’s Pulwama district outShines in All India 45th National Powerlifting Championship-2020 held National Capital New Delhi.Mudasir wani From Dadoora (Senior category) & Basit Hamid from Prichoo (Junior category) tops All india 45th National Powerlifting Championship held at Delhi with Gold medal & Mouzam from Dalipora (Junior category) with silver.Mudassir wani a power lifter from Dadoora Pulwama said it’s my passion to participate in such events & my only aim is to Make Kashmir Proud globally.Basit hamid a young body builder & the founder of Team extreme Power lift from Prichoo while talking to news reporter, that I’m very passionate about body building & requested the youngsters to come into the sports & leave drug abuse.While as another youth Mouzam Parvaiz a teenager from Dalipora Pulwama who outshines in junior category with silver is also passionate about body building since childhood & has a aim to become Mr. kashmir .All the three youth has got selected in international Powerlifting trails in (USA)United States of America.Powerlifting is a strength sport that consists of three attempts at maximal weight on three lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. As in the sport of Olympic weightlifting, it involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates.All this reflects the athletic capacitation in the guys belonging to most volatile zone ever known.
