Police Solve Loot At Laboratory Within 72 Hours-Navjot Singh Mahal

Hoshiarpur : Acting swiftly, the District Police have solved the recent incident of loot worth Rs. 1.2 lakh from Sharma Laboratory on Dagana Road within 72-hours with the arrest of three including a girl, who was an employee at laboratory.The police also recovered a sum of Rs. 94950 from the possession of accused.The Senior Superintendent of Police Navjot Singh Mahal, while giving details, revealed that the girl working in the said laboratory and his friends had conspired to loot money. He pointed out that after the incident SP (investigation) Ravinderpal Singh Sandhu, DSP Jagdish Attri and SHO Model Town Manmohan Kumar thoroughly probed all the technical aspects of incident, which led to a clue to solve the incident.The accused haves been identified as Preeti resident of Model Town her two accomplices Harjinder Singh alias Kaka residing backside Shiv Mandir, Model Town and Ranjit Singh of Dagauri Beet, Garhshankar presently residing at Shanti Nagar Mohalla.The SSP also revealed that of total looted amount of Rs. 1.2 lakh police had recovered a total Rs. 94950 including Rs. 65000 from the possession of Harjinder as Rs. 29950 from Ranjit Singh besides taking the motorbike used during the crime into possession.A case under section 379-B of the IPC dated September 16, 2020 has already been registered in the Model Town Police station.
